Today was one of those days...you know when you put your dressed girl in her room to nap and then find after completely quiet this! She'd found our giveaway pile, redressed herself then diaper cream painted P's crib while he was ASLEEP in it!

12.09.2010: We ARE crazy...and it's their fault:)
This first picture is just to prove I do in fact make my kids wear clothes and generally they look super cute...unless we are at home when Bella is either a various princess from her latest movie craze or semi-naked. And Pierce...he's figured out how to dress and undress himself so it is scary what he walks around in!
See..adorable children....
Now on to the evidence on how our kids drive us mad!
Exhibit A on why we are NUTS:
Then after you've excused and ignored the mess like I have you can try and find Bella who is trying to avoid nap time at great length.
EXHIBIT B: Pierce in all his Pierceness because there are no better words...
again with the mess...but it was the the middle of the day on a day where we weren't feeling so hot and picking up after the crazies was not high on the list...so ignore it:) I'm at the point in life where we pick up after them at the end of the day when they're sleeping...otherwise that is ALL I would EVER do!
Pierce is a NUT:) He makes me laugh so hard! I love my sweet crazy monster kidlets! They are my heart!

For those who wonder
what life is like with 2 children 18 months apart, this one sentence that came from my mouth today should help explain it.
" BELLA GRACE! I told you brothers are NOT for licking!"
....yep that is totally where we are at these days.

Nap time adventures:)
I really love when nap time ends with 'ut oh' from Bella:) and a serenade of salsa music.
It's a good thing shes cute! I guess she didn't feel like napping today...she found and emptied every basket, toy box, diaper basket she could find. She also found her stereo and turned it on and changed the station to the finest in mexican dance music....I love her. She cracks me up and it is hard to be mad when she says 'ov ou' {love you} and tilts her head just so.
but then again it is a good thing shes cute:)

Made in China...umm not so much.
While I'm not generally a fan of x-rated humor this is freaking funny. We received this
onesie as a gift from a fabulous friend and i couldn't help but laugh. So since we can't actually let him wear it in public we did let him wear it to grandma's just to get a reaction. The big oops was Gran-Mary drove up from Waco to eat dinner with us too...and well...I probably wouldn't have picked this particular humorous shirt to have dinner with my aunt. After a good old fashioned southern 'well I never' she laughed and agreed while not the best for public appearances it is pretty darn funny:)
and the boy...well he is just too cute for words regardless of his x-rated duds:)

and most importantly does it really matter what Master P wears when his sister runs around like this....
ahh the joys of toddler hood and learning to dress and undress yourself!
Thanks Brandi...we LOVE the onesie:)

Weekend in pictures: part 2
Sunday started with a dismal failure in the church nursery. It just wasn't pretty and Rick and I learned the lesson that if the church nursery isn't good then going to church just isn't going to happen. I mean whats the point when 5 minutes into the service you are pulled out because BOTH your kids hate it. Yep BOTH of my darling children were screaming messes and at this particular church they have no tolerance for screaming kids, so lesson learned and another church off our list.
After church and lunch we headed to attempt to take pictures of the 5 grandchildren...
this is just a glimpse of that brilliant idea.
so we headed to the lake to take a break from life...
Master P was so okay with that idea...
We also introduced Bella to the Elmo potty doll. We aren't going gun- ho on the potty thing but gently encouraging it. So far she has gone but more by happenstance than because she knew what was going on. At any rate she has had fun with the idea and that is a start!

Master P in big boy jammies just taken it all in!

and Bella played with 'Cupcake' the kitten{ she named him obviously} and her bra. Yep, she has bra. Who knew they made them that size? Another piece of evidence that grandma can't say no to anything...it is a 30 AAA with under-wire for those who are curious:) I know I was!
I never thought i'd see the day:)
up close of this little priceless treasure:)

She really does love that kitty. I BEGGED for us to keep him but we are so overloaded with life it was a crazy idea from a non-sleeping bow making animal lover. Cupcake now has a lovely home with Gran-Mary and Poppy has strict orders to quit rescuing cute animals.
and proof we are taking potty training VERY seriously:) She is such a funny kid! She came out saying ' it's a potty hat Jenny potty hat' and I thought my dad was going to have a heart attack from laughter. With only one lung the old man just can't take much laughter like that:)
We had a fabulous fun-filled weekend:) Now that it is almost another weekend I thought it was about time to post!

Weekend in Pictures...part 1
Saturday was a super busy day with 2 birthday parties! As I am sure you can imagine Bella was ecstatic at the prospect of 2 cupcakes!
Adam from playgroup had a swimming party!
and the kids enjoyed pizza and fun...
Bella was staring down the birthday boys cupcake...
and there's never been a cupcake she hasn't liked:)
After a long nap we headed to a birthday BBQ to celebrate Jace's 3rd birthday!

Either Bel REALLY likes J or she was keeping an eye on his food but she was practically sitting on top of him and giggling and batting her little eyes...so sweet but I am pretty sure she is too young for all that!
Then the girls decided to team up and play together:)

Happy Birthday Jace!

Happy Bella girl:)
She was SOOOOO tired we went home and strait to bed:)
atay tuned for the rest of the weekend:)

Catch up in pictures!
The last week has been pretty busy. Bella beat me up and gave me a black-eye so we've been home bound for the most part. So here is what we've been up to all week:
Pierce learned to go with the flow and can sleep just about anywhere although he prefers my arms...{which I am totally okay with but doesn't allow much of anything else to get done}
Bella actually took a bite of the waffle she asks for every morning then usually feeds to the ducks...
She also did some excellent sliding...
and gave some loving to a giant 'melmo'
she colored with her rugrats friends at playgroup...
and we both enjoyed general playgroup chaos.
These are her friends..they're triplets!
A week isn't complete without some Little Gym fun. This week Grandma joined us but we didn't get any good pictures...
Bella spends a lot of her time hiding these days...
and she loves to walk the beam.
A week in our house isn't complete with out time for bow-making. There were a lot of bows made...

In the last 2 weeks I've made 78 bows and 4 shirts/onesies! I've got orders coming out of my ears but I hope/plan this is the week I get caught up!
Since we are in the "laid-off living" zone we've been eating yummy meals at home! I think somewhere in the going out every meal for the last few months of my pregnancy that I actually forgot I like to cook! Plus it has really helped in getting some of this weight off:)
Bella, Pierce and I have all had the ickys so we skipped swim lessons this week. We did get a chance to have 2/ 20 month pictures taken ....
and here is a preview from the kidlets latest with B4photography.com...I can't wait to post the final pictures!
AND to celebrate Bella being a big girl and staying in the church nursery the whole time we had lunch and playtime at McDonald's with our friends Tricia & Karen and their husbands and kids plus at dinner Bella got cupcakes!

Nothing better to complete a cupcake princess than loads of pink icing!
And while we were busy being busy last week, Master P has been giving non-stop giggles and laughs!

He is such a treat on a blah day! His giggles and laughs are infectious and Bella LOVES to try and make him smile! She has turned into such a FABULOUS big sister! It makes me wonder why I ever worried to begin with!
