The Story of Annelise

It's a long story, about a girl, a beautiful baby with curly  blond hair and her daddy's dimples. It's a story of life, death and the renewal of spirit. In essence, it is my testimony. How I came to love God again or maybe even for the very first time  So her story has become my story and the backbone of our family.

Not to long ago I learned of the true gift Annelise gave me; the ability to help others who are grieving and in a place of such sadness.I learned of my  my responsibility to share Gods love even in the presence of overwhelming sadness. I've been there and managed through His grace to  come out the other side. Annelise never breathed air on this earth but her gift to me was an ability to see the good in all situations and share that love she taught me.

 In the early days my sadness was overwhelming. The posts are sporadic and very raw. I've tried to arrange the links here so you may read our story easily. It must be pieced together in this form because I do not have the strength to write it as it should be. Never the less, I hope this helps you get a grasp on who we are, what we've been through and how at the end of every day we have learned that God is good in ALL situations.

This blog evolves for our grief over the loss of Annelise into the pure joy Bella Grace and Pierce have brought us.
