03.06.2012: Our tiny answered prayer

Today I dropped the kids off at school and headed to the gym. Its part of my 'get thin' plan and the acceptance of us not having another baby.

Then my nose started bleeding.

and i threw up in the parking lot of target.

So i headed inside on the notion that God works on his own timeline and 'wouldn't it be funny if'.

I only even considered a test because of the nose bleed. The barfing could just be a virus or kid germs that follow the tiny people around.

I mean...i was a few days late..but id dropped 15 or so lbs and just came off of months of infertility drugs...it was just my system getting used to not being overloaded with hormones. It had been 2 months since our canceled cycle. Since the 'no egg' diagnosis. Since we were told another baby was a 'pipe dream'. It had also been a month since i told our sweet Dr. K, God had his own plans and was bigger than science or an old angry uterus. If anyone could get a grip on my angry uterus its the Big Dude in the sky. Dr. K just laughed and said he admired my faith...ehh nothing to admire when you've had the pleasure of witnessing a miracle and knew His capabilities.

Test in hand (my only purchase) i ran into an old friend. AJ's mom from Bels first playgroup. Kind of funny since i hadn't seen her in a year. I know i mumbled a gazillion i know it probably isn't going to work. She laughed and said "if anyone deserves it its you"...sweet words from a lady who knew our struggles from the get go.

Still trying to talk myself into taking the test all while chastising myself for wasting money when i could have bought a cupcake  ( a sure fire way to happiness) instead.

After sometime in the parking lot i headed into TJ MAXX and ran to the bathroom.

So when it only took a minute for this to pop up I was shocked and unbelievably humbled by God's goodness. I know i was a hot mess as it was a total ugly cry but texting this picture to Rick with the words " We got our miracle" was the highlight of my life.

Today is a day ill never forget.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: Rejoice always, pray continually,  give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
